Current informationGet on board and lean back. Thanks to excellent train connections from Germany, Austria & Switzerland, travelling by train is a stress-free and environmentally friendly alternative to the car.
► From Germany or Austria: The national railway companies of Germany and Austria, DB & ÖBB, run daily from Munich to Bolzano/Bozen (with stops at Brenner/Brennero, Franzensfeste/Fortezza and Brixen/Bressanone). To reach the Antholzertal valley, you have to change in Franzensfeste to the connection to the Pustertal valley. The nearest train station is in Olang/Valdaora. The South Tyrol connecting ticket additionally entitles you to use all public transport to reach the train station on the day of your arrival/departure.
► From Switzerland: The Railjet Express & Eurocity runs several times a day via Innsbruck and the Brenner/Brennero to South Tyrol. In Franzensfeste/Fortezza you have to change to the local railway of the Pustertal valley to reach Olang/Valdaora. From here you can take the bus to reach the Antholzertal valley.

To reach your accommodation, you can also take the South Tyrol shuttle services “Südtirol Transfer” and “Book your Shuttle”. Some accommodation facilities also offer their own shuttle service.
