A highlight for skiers and snowboarders
Kronplatz ski area

The wintry mountain world surrounding the Antholzertal valley is a highlight of its own. Especially if you are only waiting for the moment to swing onto the boards, put on your helmet and master the legendary skiing areas of the Pustertal valley! One of which is located very close by: the Kronplatz! Depending on where your accommodation facility is located, only 10-30 minutes separate you from the valley station of the Gassl cable car, which leads you directly to the snowy paradise of the No. 1 ski mountain in modern cabins: A total of 119 kilometres of pistes and 32 modern lifts attract every type of skier to enjoy some exciting adventures on the gentle and almost treeless slopes of the famous ski area. Of course, experts and the more courageous among you should not miss out on the "Black Five", the 5 black slopes of the Kronplatz! To ensure that you are well equipped and prepared, there are, of course, ski schools and ski rentals at your disposal.

Our tip: You can easily reach the ski area in a sustainable way by taking the ski bus to the valley station.

Family fun on the slope
The Riepen chairlift

Situated idyllically in the location of Antholz Mittertal, our beautiful side valley also offers a place where families, in particular, can enjoy their time on our sparkling white piste: the slope called Riepenpiste. Surrounded by a wonderful winter landscape, the piste, which is part of the Kronplatz ski area, features a 1.6-kilometre-long slope and offers entertainment and relaxed moments on skis. Both young and adults, as well as beginners and advanced skiers, will enjoy the slope to the full, as in addition to the piste, you can also explore the SnowPark and the Kids Park to your heart's content.

You are missing the right equipment? Looking for tips or want to learn how to properly stand on skis and snowboard? The ski school and rental service "Huski Sports Rental Riepen" will be happy to assist you.
